Introducing StopTheFakes

StopTheFakes is a blockchain-based decentralized service that aims to detect forgery and infringement of intellectual property rights on the platform of the Ethereum smart contract. Blockchain technology has been implemented using open source licenses. This project has its own token, which is the only payment method in its framework.

Our basic idea is to build a truly transparent and reliable system that can transfer data from users to rights holders. We assume responsibility for providing the necessary infrastructure and bringing together those who want to know about violations of their rights and those who can provide this information because of their geographic location or other factors. We assume responsibility for ensuring that customers reward service providers and retain remuneration as commission fees.

Special Examples of How This Service Works

Film studio

A movie studio released a movie and presented its premiere in theaters. Pirates bring a video camera to the cinema, make a screen copy of the film and upload it for free to their website. For example, 100 pirates around the world are uploading pirated movies to 1,000 websites. If at least 1,000 users visit each of these sites, the filmmaker will lose about 1,000,000 viewers daily. Considering the ticket is priced at $ 25, half goes to the rights holder, the movie studio will lose $ 12.5 million a day.

With StopTheFakes.io, the company must spend $ 24,000 to detect 1,000 websites. Thousands of people around the world will be involved in the search.

The film company will get an additional $ 12,476,000 in just one day.

STF Token

Ethhereum-based tokens are made to ensure full service functionality. We intend to use existing Ethereum blockchain; there are no plans to create our own blockchain. Smart contracts protect services from unauthorized access, fraud, and other illegal interventions.

STF is a functional token designed specifically for use on the StopTheFakes.io platform. In other words, it allows participants on the StopTheFakes.io platform to receive and send signals that inform violations.
